Terms and Conditions
Last updated: October 28, 2026
1. Scope and applicable documents
These terms explain reserving and renting storage space from Mini-Entrepôts Sauvegarde. Before paying, review the selected offer, displayed charges and the rental agreement applicable to your facility. That agreement sets out access, use and termination rules. Nothing on this website limits rights provided by law. Our Privacy Policy separately explains how personal information is handled.
2. Reservations and confirmation
An inquiry or unpaid reservation does not, by itself, constitute a completed rental or guarantee access to a unit. The confirmation identifies the facility, unit or unit category, start date and applicable terms.
The agreement takes effect when signed. Rental and rent billing begin on the move-in date stated in the confirmation, even if payment or signature occurs earlier. If we cannot provide the confirmed rental, amounts paid for that rental are refunded.
3. Term and renewal
Rentals continue month to month and renew on the first day of each month until ended with the required notice. Monthly billing occurs on the first. A minimum of one month’s rent remains payable even if the customer leaves earlier. The no-refund rule for services in a month already started is set out in section 8.
4. Initial payment and partial month
The initial payment depends on the move-in date, not the reservation date.
For a rental starting on the first of the month, it covers that month only, with the eligible promotional discount applied immediately.
From the 2nd through the 19th inclusive, it covers only regular rent prorated through month-end; the promotion starts with the next full month.
From the 20th onward, it covers regular rent prorated through month-end plus the following full month, with the eligible discount applied to that full month.
For example, a November 19 move-in initially pays for November 19–30 only; a November 20 move-in initially pays regular prorated rent for November 20–30 plus December at the applicable promotional rate.
Protection, applicable fees and taxes are shown separately in the summary before payment.
5. Rates, taxes and fees
Amounts are in Canadian dollars. The summary before payment identifies rent, applicable fees, protection or insurance, and taxes. Mandatory charges must be presented as required by law.
Protection charges for a service month already started are non-refundable and cannot be credited; they provide protection through the end of that month. To avoid the following month’s protection charge, acceptable proof of outside insurance must be provided and accepted before that month begins.
No rent increase applies during a promotion. Outside the promotional period, any increase to the customer’s rent is communicated in writing at least thirty (30) days before the new rent takes effect, in accordance with the lease and applicable legal requirements.
6. Promotions
Promotions apply to rent only. Unless the accepted offer states otherwise, they are for new customers, subject to availability, limited to one offer per household, and do not apply to unit transfers or additional spaces rented by an existing customer.
A 50% discount for 12 months covers 12 eligible full months; a 75% discount for 3 months covers 3 eligible full months.
For a move-in on the first, the discount starts immediately. Otherwise, the partial month is charged at the regular rate and the discount starts with the next full month.
Rent does not increase during the promotional period.
When the promotion ends, rent returns to the original regular monthly amount stated in the lease, without the promotional discount. That rent may subsequently increase with written notice at least thirty (30) days before the new rent takes effect. No increase takes effect during the promotion.
The customer may leave with 15 days’ written notice without an early-departure penalty or repayment of discounts already received, subject to the one-month minimum charge. The discount duration is not a commitment to remain for the entire promotion.
Changes to future offers do not automatically change an offer already accepted.
7. Ending the rental
To end your rental, notify your facility by email or in writing at least fifteen (15) days before your planned departure date.
Empty the unit completely, remove your lock and confirm departure with the office.
Our team confirms the end date and the stopping of billing. If the required notice is not given, the following month may be charged in accordance with the agreement and the law.
8. Cancellation and refunds
If the customer cancels before the move-in date, rent and protection payments are refunded. The administration fee remains non-refundable.
No refund or credit is provided for services charged for a service month already started, including rent and protection, even if the customer leaves before month-end with proper notice.
These rules do not limit refunds or remedies required by law. If we make an error or cannot provide the confirmed rental, the affected amounts are refunded as appropriate in the circumstances and under applicable requirements.
To report an error or request an applicable refund, contact your facility with your name and reservation or rental reference.
9. Personal information and advertising measurement
Our Privacy Policy explains how personal information is handled, including recipients and optional choices concerning analytics and advertising measurement. Accepting rental terms does not constitute consent to optional advertising tools.
10. Information submitted in an inquiry
Information and messages submitted in an inquiry are used to handle it as described in our Privacy Policy. Submission does not grant us general permission to publish them or reuse them for promotional purposes.
11. Questions, privacy and updates
For questions about a unit, reservation, payment or departure, contact the relevant facility using the details in your confirmation, agreement or facility page. For personal-information questions, consult our Privacy Policy. The terms and offer applicable to your rental are communicated when the agreement is concluded. A later website update does not automatically change terms already agreed.
